Good Afternoon Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I am watching the forecast and making contingency plans for Sunday’s worship and annual meeting.

The predictions currently indicate that we will receive significant snowfall over the course of the weekend, so I am preparing to lead a Bible study at 9am and the convene the annual meeting via Zoom at 10pm.

If we receive the predicted snowfall, I will announce the closure by E-Pistle and on the website by 7am on Sunday.

If we do not hold the annual meeting this Sunday, the next constitutional opportunity we will have to hold the annual meeting will be on Sunday, February 8th.  According to Robert’s Rules of Order we could suspend the meeting in the event that we do not have a quorum.  That would fulfil the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s annual meeting requirements, however that would leave us without the opportunity to elect new council members.  So, I am hoping that we can garner a quorum online this Sunday.  Twelve people constitute a quorum.  In the event of inclement weather, please plan on joining us for the Zoom annual meeting this Sunday.  (Enlist your spouses and confirmed children too!)

Pax,

Rev. George Schneider
